Six pillars that keep recovery community-led

Ethana e'World Humanitarian Organization operates as a network of specialised departments that grew out of our founding manifesto: communities must design their own recovery. Each department blends organic science, local knowledge, and modern innovation so the people we serve remain decision-makers, not beneficiaries.

  • 400+ field workers coordinate programmes across Nigeria, Ghana, and the diaspora, reporting into our Berlin headquarters.
  • Every department shares data, co-funds pilots, and hands over ownership to resident committees once systems stabilise.
  • Together the teams support more than 250,000 residents with health, education, livelihoods, water, and energy access.
Organic hospital

Organic Health & Hospitals

From hermetic hospitals to mobile healing units, our health department returns medicine to its organic roots while honouring scientific standards.

  • Formulates capsules and tonics from indigenous botanicals, replacing dependency on high-cost imports and chemical side effects.
  • Designs healing gardens where agriculture, spiritual care, and clinical treatment reinforce one another.
  • Deploys trauma-care teams to crises with dignity kits, counselling, and follow-up home visits.

Education & Talent

Education is a catalyst for self-determined futures, especially in rural communities historically cut off from opportunity.

  • Installs solar micro-grids and digital hubs so remote schools access reliable power and online curricula.
  • Runs teacher fellowships and mentorship for women educators, boosting retention in underserved districts.
  • Introduces the Colour Food curriculum that links nutrition, climate science, and entrepreneurship for students.

Organic farming

Regenerative Agriculture & Nutrition

Our agriculture team helps smallholder farmers shift from extractive practices to regenerative systems that nourish soil, people, and income.

  • Distributes Vega Organic Fertilizer to 15,000 farmers, paired with soil labs and agroecology coaching.
  • Builds farmer field schools and market access cooperatives that stabilise prices and logistics.
  • Expands community nutrition kitchens delivering organic produce to 250,000 households annually.

WASH & Public Health

Water, sanitation, and hygiene infrastructure is the backbone of every health and education outcome we pursue.

  • Co-designs boreholes, solar pump stations, and water kiosks managed by resident committees.
  • Trains hygiene champions who deliver behaviour-change campaigns in schools and markets.
  • Pairs WASH investments with waste-to-compost innovations that feed our agriculture pipeline.

Sport therapy

Sport & Trauma Recovery

Sport is both therapy and mobilisation. Our coaches and counsellors use movement to restore dignity and rally resources.

  • Hosts safe-space leagues where survivors of gender-based violence rebuild confidence and community.
  • Partners with local clubs to deliver athletics, cultural games, and life skills for 20,000 youth annually.
  • Organises regional tournaments and charity matches to raise funds for organic hospitals and WASH upgrades.

Green Energy & Infrastructure

Reliable, clean energy is the invisible infrastructure that powers our clinics, classrooms, and cold chains.

  • Deploys micro-grids and solar cold rooms that keep vaccines viable and food markets productive.
  • Retrofits community centres and schools with efficient cooling, lighting, and rainwater harvesting.
  • Builds the e-health backbone that links rural patients to specialists through secure telemedicine.
